Fantasy for orchestra in one movement
Duration 15’
Composed in 2009 (Premiered Nov. 11, 2009 at Uuden Musiikin Lokakuu Festival by Oulu sinfonia, Timothy Redmond, cond.)

The name of this work comes from a frequent dream of levitation in which the main theme is present. My works are often described as visual, transparent, light and opposing gravity and it just might be sensed in this particular work. Naturally each listener makes his/her own interpretation about music.

I feel I was successful in translating the dream into music. I intend to continue this series of orchestral works with other elements as well. The next one might as well be titled Iron or any other interesting element. In the end single works would come together in one symphonic work in many contrasting movements.
