Satu Kreivi-Palosaari from Kiiminki surprised me by sending me poems with a flower theme. After reading the first poem I felt I need to compose a work based on it. My enthusiasm grew poem by poem, naturally this would be a vocal suite. Virpi Räisänen-Midth and Timo Kinnunen had expressed their interest in pieces for vocal and accordion. They also wished the work would have light-hearted and humoristical attributes
